Van Persie to get his own dvd

A dvd with 100 Robin van Persie Arsenal goals is soon to be released.

As it has become a tradition over the past few years following Dennis Bergkamp and Thierry Henry for example, Robin van Persie will soon have his own dvd in the Arsenal fanshops. On the dvd will be all 100 official goals the Dutch striker scored for Arsenal.

Two weeks ago Robin van Persie scored twice in the game against Bolton Wanderers, which ended in a 3-0 victory for The Gunners. Van Persie’s second goal also meant his 100th official goal for Arsenal. The 28-year-old was proud to announce the release yesterday.

After his 100th Arsenal goal, Van Persie also received a cynical text message from former Gunner Glenn Helder saying: “I am so proud of you Robin, you only managed to score 99 goals more than I did.”. It clearly made Van Persie smile. Helder scored just one goal in his period at Arsenal.

More information on when and where the dvd will be released is unknown at this moment, so keep an eye on Arsenal’s official website, as it will probably share more information on this in the near future.
