The Brazil-born Croatia international,  who has not featured for Arsenal since the 0-0 draw against Aston Villa on January 27th, and his return will be a boost for Wenger.

Eduardo still thinks most of his muscle injuries are because of his long time on the sidelines, revalidating from Martin Taylor's horryfying tackle against Birmingham in February 2008. Eduardo suffered a double leg fracture because of the tackle.

Eduardo said: "I have special plate in my foot which makes me feel like a Gladiator! I’m protected and with that I have gained confidence as well... I took great strength from the doctors in England and Brazil who told me 'you can rest assured you will play again.'"

The 26-year-old also added that he does not want to remove those plates at this time. "It would take more playing time away, I wanted to train fully in pre-season with the rest of the players and at the moment it does not bother me."

Eduardo also concluded that he feels the "worst is over".

Eduardo has made 22 appearances for Arsenal this season, scoring six goals and making five assists.
