Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has told the press that he does not want to make a move to Arsenal, after being heavily linked with The Gunners. It is rumoured that the club has offered Borussia Dortmund a £44 million transfer bid for the Gabon international on Thursday, but the striker himself was quoted that he will not move to Arsenal in the January transfer window.
Aubameyang has scored an incredible 18 goals in 17 league games so far this season in the German Bundesliga. He was also voted African Footballer of the Year earlier this week, and took over the title from Manchester City’s Yaya Touré.
Meanwhile Arsenal will take on Sunderland later today in the FA Cup, but they will still be without Mohamed Elneny. The deal for the Egyptian seems to be done but it is yet to be announced officially. Although Arsenal are once more linked with a host of big-name-signings, this is the only deal that actually seems to be happening this January as of right now.
