Edward Keddar Nketiah was scouted and picked up by Chelsea at the age of nine. He joined their youth academy but was released from the club in 2015. He then moved to the Arsenal Academy. He was promoted to the first team by Arsène Wenger at the start of the 2017-2018 season. He made his debut for the club on 28 September 2017 against BATE Borisov in the Europa League, as an 89th minute substitution. His second appearance for the club was one he will never forget. On 24 October 2017 Arsenal played Norwich in the League Cup. He was brought on in the 85th minute, and scored what proved to be the winning goal just 15 seconds after his entrance. Nketiah was loaned to Leeds United at the start of the 2019-2020 campaign. Arsenal recalled him in January 2020 and is with the first team since.
